1. Acceptance of terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the QRcodeUniverse website and QR code generator (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of the Service
QRcodeUniverse provides a free, browser-based tool for creating and downloading QR codes. The codes are static and encode the data you provide directly, generated locally on your device.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to create QR codes that:
- link to unlawful, fraudulent, malicious, or harmful content, including malware or phishing;
- infringe the intellectual-property or privacy rights of others;
- distribute spam or deceptive material; or
- violate any applicable law or regulation.
You are solely responsible for the content you encode and how you use the QR codes you create.
4. Intellectual property
The QR codes you generate are yours to use freely, including for commercial purposes, with no watermark and no attribution required. The QRcodeUniverse name, logo, website design and underlying software remain our property and may not be copied or redistributed without permission.
5. No warranty
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. While we work hard to ensure QR codes scan reliably, you are responsible for testing any code before publishing or printing it. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, QRcodeUniverse shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
7. Advertising
The Service is supported by third-party advertising, including Google AdSense. Your interactions with advertisers are solely between you and the advertiser. Please see our Privacy Policy for details on advertising cookies.
8. Third-party links
QR codes and pages may point to third-party websites we do not control. We are not responsible for the content, policies or practices of those sites.
9. Changes to the Service and Terms
We may modify or discontinue the Service, or update these Terms, at any time. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction in which the Service is operated, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
