Accessibility Statement
We want everyone to be able to create and scan QR codes. This statement describes our approach to accessibility and how to reach us if something isn’t working for you.
1. Our commitment
QRcodeUniverse is committed to making its website accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of ability or technology. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.
2. Measures we take
- Semantic HTML with clear headings, landmarks and labelled controls.
- Keyboard-operable navigation, including a “Skip to content” link on every page.
- Visible focus indicators and adequate colour contrast in both light and dark themes.
- A light/dark theme toggle, and respect for the “reduced motion” system preference.
- Descriptive alternative text for meaningful images and ARIA attributes where needed.
- Responsive layouts that reflow cleanly down to small screens and support zoom.
3. Known limitations
Despite our efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible. The interactive generator’s live QR preview is a visual element; the surrounding controls are labelled, and the same result can be downloaded in multiple formats. We are continually improving these areas.
4. Compatibility
The site is designed to work with current versions of major browsers and with assistive technologies such as screen readers. It does not require any plug-ins.

If you encounter an accessibility barrier, we want to hear about it. Email hello@qrcodeuniverse.com with the page address and a description of the problem, and we will do our best to resolve it and provide the information you need in an alternative format.
